Hermansen Bike One

Sale price  22 000 kr Regular price  36 000 kr

The Hermansen Bike One is a unisex, singlespeed urban e-bike, designed in Denmark. The frame for this bike was designed by Anders Hermansen , the former head designer at Bang & Olufsen. The frame consists of two asymmetrical, triangular shapes, one to the right and the other to the left of the seat tube. A third triangular shape is also created horizontally, which makes the front even more snarling than a classically shaped frame.

The uniquely designed asymmetrical frame is not only very stylish but also compact, strong and light. This in combination with 20-inch wheels makes the bike very easy to maneuver and allows you to get around quickly and easily. Thanks to the compact size and low weight, you can easily take the bike on the train, put it in the car or carry it up and down stairs. The Hermansen Bike One comes fitted with mudguards.

NOTE! Front luggage rack can be ordered if desired and costs 2200 SEK.

More about this unique eBike

Frame:

The main frame is made from classic Reynolds tubing. These refined cold-forged, mandrel-reduced steel tubes are both extremely light and strong and have been chosen to give the bike a low weight, high quality and durability. The rear stays are made from chrome-plated chromoly steel.

Engine:

Bike One is powered by a smart, small and quiet 250W rear hub motor. It is pedal-assisted, which means that it assists you as long as you pedal and turns off when you stop pedaling. The motor assists you up to a maximum of 25km/h, in accordance with EU regulations. There are also four power levels that you control via an app on your smartphone. Using the app, you also get information about your speed and battery level.

Battery:

The battery that powers the motor is a small bottle-shaped Li-on battery. This battery currently has the highest energy density on the market, which makes it so compact. The battery is placed in the seat post, securely fixed with a magnet and a strap. An advantage of the mounting is that it can be easily removed and reattached for charging. The battery has a range of about 40km, depending on the power level you choose, as well as terrain, wind, riding style and the size of the cyclist. The size and weight make it easy to bring an extra one for longer rides.
